Backcountry skis are intended for off-track skiing. These skis are equipped with full-length metal edges for control and stability when descending. They are wider to provide better flotation when skiing off-track in deeper snow and can be equipped with short or full-length skins to provide better grip when travelling in steeper terrain.
Short skins are included.
These skis are set up with NNNBC bindings.
Ski length is determined according to body weight, height and experience. When choosing backcountry skis, you should add 10 to 15cm to your height. Heavier or more experienced skiers typically choose longer skis. Shorter skis are recommended for lighter or less experienced skiers. Recommended ski pole length is 45-55 cm less than the skier’s height.
